Charlotte Street has so much going on; bars and restaurants galore with a really cool unobstructed view of the BT Tower in the background. Close by to Goodge Street and Tottenham Court Road Stations or a short walk from Oxford Street and the shops it is so easy to get to.
Out of the many places to choose from is Roka, a Japanese restaurant with a sleek, stylish, quirky and yet intimate bar hidden downstairs called the Shochu Lounge. Stunningly beautiful and different at the same time. The colourful mural on the wall as you walk in will immediately catch your eye but that’s not all. If you are very quick and can head down before the end of June you will get to see the Cherry Blossom Pop Up. Flowers adorn the ceiling and walls, the pretty pink colours really contrasting with the darkness of the bar and the neon lights in the background. Their pop ups change regularly and I can’t wait to see what the next instalment will be.
Cocktails start from £10 and you can choose between Japanese creations or distilled Shochu infusions. Tasty and dazzling concoctions as easy on the eye as they are on the taste buds. The perfect choice for date night. Cosy up in a corner and feel like you are the only people in the room.
